ENGLISH GLOSSARY

UNITS 0-1:
-Development: The act or process of growth.
-Rehearsal: a session of exercise, drill, or practice, or performance in preparation for a public performance, ceremony, etc.
-Doorbell: a bell, chime, or buzzer connected with a door and rung by persons seeking admittance, making a delivery, etc.
-To sleep a wink: not sleep at all.
-To set up a blog: to make a blog.
-Neighbours: a person who lives near another.
-Sunburned: reddened, sore, and peeling skin caused by overexposure to the sun or a sunlamp.
-Unfamiliar: something that is new for you.
-Voluntary:something that isn´t obligatory.
-Rare: something that isn´t common.
-Strict: a person whon isn´t easy-going
-Easy-going: a person who isn´t strict.
-Active: a person who is being in existence, progress, or motion.
-Mathematical: a person who is very inteligent in maths (numbers).
-Creative: a person who have a lot of imagination.
-Hard-working: the opposite of lazy.
-Artistic: a person who do difference but attractive or beautiful things.
-Organized: a person who have an organizazed mind.
-Curious: a person who wants to know or learn new things.
-Sociable: a person who have a lot of friends.
-Didgeridoo: is an instrument made of wood, employed to the ceremonies of the Maories, it can be 2 mettres long.

UNIT 2
-Disappointing: failing to fulfill one's hopes or expectations.
-Seldom: Rarely.
-Informative: It means that explains you something.
-Audience: Is the people that are watching the film.
-Plot: The story of the film or novel.
-Blockbuster: Is a very popular profitable film.
-Bestseller: A product, as a book, that sells very well at a given time.
-Critic: The person who writes the reviews of a film or a book.
-Main character: Is the most important caracterin the film.
-Review: Is a critical article wrote by the critic.
-Film director: Is the person who directs the film.
-Setting: The act of a person.

UNIT 3
-Afford: to be able to meet the expense of or pay for
-Bargain:  less than the usual cost.
-Borrow: to obtain something with a promise to return it.
-Cost: the price paid to buy, produce, or maintain anything.
-Lend: to grant the use of something on condition that it or its equivalent will be returned.
-Sale: an act of selling.
-Waste: to use up or spend to no profit.
-Archery: the practice of shooting with a bow and arrow at a target.
-Kayaking: an Eskimo canoe with a skin cover on a light framework and a flexible opening at the center.

UNIT 4
-Amusing: causing someone to laugh or providing amusement.
-Annoying: irritating.
-Confusing: hard to understand.
-Embarrasing: uncumfortable.
-Fascinating: of great interest or attraction.
-Frightening: causing fear or anxiety.
-Inspiring: causing inspiration.
-Irritating: annoying.
-Motivating: to provide someone with a motive or motives.
-Relaxing: causing or bringing about a feeling of relaxation.
-Upsetting: tending to disturb or upset.
-Worrying: to cause to feel or be uneasy or anxious.
-Burst out of laughting: don´t stop laughting.
-Gap: Hueco
-Browse: search on internet.
-Charge: to put electrical energy into the mobilphone.+

-Scroll:  to move a cursor smoothly, causing new data to replace old on the monitor.
