SELF-ASSESMENT



Hi everyone!

We have finished the third term and I learned a lot of new vocabulary of transport like rush hour, double-decker, pedalling... Also I have finished my portfolio and I improve my skills about reading and listenning, I´m sure I will communicate better at a foreign country now because I have recovered my speaking and my intonation

VOCABULARY
Pedestrian: one who travels on foot

Fare: the price of traveling in a bus, airplane, or other carrier

Double-decker: is a bus with two levels

Rush hour: a time of day in which large numbers of people are traveling to or from work

Tradition: a way of acting that people in a particular society or group have continued to follow for a long time. For example in England is a tradition drink tea at 5 o'clock.

Etiquette: conventional requirements as to social behavior

Netiquette: the etiquette of computer networks, internet etc.

Rank: a social or official position or standing

Admit: to allow

State: the condition of a person or thing with respect to circumstances or experiences 

Diplomacy: skill in managing negotiations tact

Rude: impolite

Polite: showing good manners

Manners: a way of doing, being done, or happening

SELF-ASSESMENT

This term I have improved in speaking and now I can understand the Spanish Inquisition better. In grammar I have to improve because in this term I had bad marks, also I have improved in vocabulary and I have learned the benefits of a healthy diet.
I´ll improve in the third term.

SELF-ASSESMENT

In this term I have learned a lot of new expressions like get involved, get used to, make a difference... One of my favorite lessons was Idioms, I didn´t like a lot Michael´s lessons because sometimes were boring, but I now how to pronounce the letter P good :),  I love also the lesson of logos. In P.E I love the handball classes and in TICS I have learned all about Gimp and Sway.
